SDBS, or Sodium Dodecylbenzenesulfonate, is a white to pale yellow powder that is readily soluble in water. Possessing strong detergency, foaming, and emulsifying capabilities, it is a commonly used anionic surfactant in laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, and industrial cleaning agents.
